Library Instruction

Librarians at the Health Sciences Library provide customized, discipline-specific seminars to individuals, groups and classes to help you integrate library research, resource evaluation and information management skills into your clinical practice, your courses and your research.

Students and faculty are invited to contact their health sciences librarian below to arrange instruction in:

  • Locating clinical literature to support evidence based practice
  • Conducting comprehensive literature searches for theses and dissertations, research or systematic reviews
  • How to search a specific health database such as Medline or CAB Abstracts
  • Integrating library research skills and library e-resources into Blackboard and CIS based courses
  • The resources and services of the Health Sciences Library
