Air Photo Search Guide

Step 2: Browse the SANDS Air Photo collection using the Air Photo Search Tool. 

Click on the NTS map sheet on the Air Photo Search Tool to open a pop-up window that will show which SANDS air photo sets are available for that NTS sheet.

In the example below, selecting the NTS sheet "72 M 12" will open a pop up window that shows that SANDS has 8 air photo sets that overlap with this map sheet. Using the arrows located in the top left hand corner of the pop up window to see the information for each of these sets, including the year the pictures were taken (the last four digits of the call number).
