The Military Museums Library & Archives

Museum visitors should be aware of road closures and detours due to the City of Calgary’s project to upgrade the Crowchild Trail/Flanders Avenue Interchange. During construction, The Military Museums Library and Archives will remain open.

The Military Museums (TMM) Library & Archives collects all aspects of military history and strategic studies, with emphasis on Canada. TMM Library holdings are integrated with University of Calgary holdings and searchable on the main University of Calgary library catalogue.

The Library is open to the public. Items cannot be borrowed, but can be consulted within the Library. Photocopying will be done upon request (in compliance with copyright and the Freedom of Information and Privacy laws) at a cost of $0.20 per page.

Appointments are required in advance for use of archival materials (unpublished personal memorabilia), including diaries, maps and photographs and other items related to Canadian military history.
