Information for Students

Need to watch a movie or listen to some music for class?

Come visit us at VPARTS!

We have:

• 6 individual listening stations (first come, first served)
• 6 individual preview stations (first come, first served)
• 2 large preview rooms that seat up to 20 people each (bookable)
• 1 small preview room that seats 5 people (bookable)

You may book the preview rooms for your group to come view a film either in person at our desk, by phone or by email.

Listening CDs that are on reserve for a class are first come, first served and are available for a 2 hour loan period for use here in the library. We also have headphones that are available to borrow.

Videos that are on reserve for your class are available to be viewed here in the library for a 3 hour loan period. It is recommended that you book the video ahead of time to ensure it is available for you. You can book videos in person at our desk, by phone or by email. We will need the title or call number of the film as well as your full name as it appears on your UCID card.

Please feel free to come by to explore and browse our thousands of other CDs and movies that can be borrowed for 1 week.
