The Downtown Campus Library is the newest member of the Libraries and Cultural Resources family.

Many of you will recall students’ concerns near the end of the fall term about study spaces. The Students’ Union and my office worked closely to find out more about these concerns and to offer solutions in a timely manner.

Funded by the Students' Union and brought to you by Writing Support Services and the TFDL Learning Commons, free drop-in writing consultations are being offered again in the Learning Commons starting January 23.

Did you know that you can load Unidollars on your OneCard and use for printing, and at various food services across campus? 

Today, the university re-opened the quiet study areas in the basement and third floor of the MacKimmie tower. The second floor of MacKimmie block continues as study space until it is needed for final exams later in December.

As of Thursday, October 27, 130 additional single study seats were added to the TDFL bringing the total study spaces in the TFDL up to 1,790. An additional 130 spaces were opened in the MacKimmie Block on October 24, which means there are 1,920 study spaces in those two buildings—up 285 spaces from the old total of 1,635 in the MacKimmie Library.

The popular gift shop from the former Nickle Arts Museum opened on Oct. 3 in its new location on the main floor of the Taylor Family Digital Library.
