More study spaces for students

Today, the university re-opened the quiet study areas in the basement and third floor of the MacKimmie tower. The second floor of MacKimmie block continues as study space until it is needed for final exams later in December.

Update on Quiet Study Space

As of Thursday, October 27, 130 additional single study seats were added to the TDFL bringing the total study spaces in the TFDL up to 1,790. An additional 130 spaces were opened in the MacKimmie Block on October 24, which means there are 1,920 study spaces in those two buildings—up 285 spaces from the old total of 1,635 in the MacKimmie Library.
