HIGHLIGHT: Visualization Studio - Taylor Family Digital Library

Biologists examining sub-cellular details. Urban planners able to pinpoint sewer grates in a map of a giant neighbourhood. Astronomers analyzing deep-space telescopic imagery. The Visualization Studio, which opened in 2012, features the highest resolution screen of its kind in Canada—34.5 million pixels—and allows researchers to see details that would be impossible with a desktop monitor or standard projector. The studio also includes an interactive touch table and surround sound.
