The Visualization Studio, which opened in 2012, features the highest resolution screen of its kind in Canada—34.5 million pixels—and allows researchers to see details that would be impossible with a desktop monitor or standard projector. The studio also includes an interactive touch table and surround sound.
May 5 is Dutch Liberation Day and this year is the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Holland during the Second World War, in which Canada was key.
