Staff, faculty and students at these institutions:

Can use their student/staff ID card to:

  • Check out up to 50 books at one time.
  • Renew your checked-out item unless someone has requested it.
  • This card does not give remote access to our electronic materials.  Access to this material is only available on campus using our computers.
  • To use library computers, sign-up for a guest log-on at the Tech desk on the 2nd floor of the Taylor Family Digital Library. Please bring a photo ID.

If you are a student at SAIT or ACAD you will have to get an Alberta Library (TAL) card from your library before you come to us. 

Southern Alberta Colleges

Academic staff at these institutions:

anadian Southern Baptist Seminary
Medicine Hat College 

and 

Staff, faculty and students at Rocky Mountain College

Can register for a Reciprocal Card which will allow you to:

  • Check out up to 5  books at one time
  • Renew your checked-out item unless someone else has requested it.
  • This card does not give remote access to our electronic materials. Access to this material is only available on campus using our computers.
  • To use library computers, sign-up for a guest log-on at the Tech desk on the 2nd floor of the Taylor Family Digital Library. Please bring a photo ID.

Bring your student/staff ID card for registration. 

Other Canadian Universities

Before coming, obtain the appropriate card from your own university's library. You can find further information on the Canadian University Reciprocal Borrowing Agreement at the official website.

Proper ID needed:

  • COPPUL (B.C, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba) - COPPUL Card
  • OCUL * (Ontario) - Valid library card from your home institution or an Inter-University Borrowing Project Card
  • CREPUQ **(Quebec) -  CREPUQ carte de presentation/Introductory card with an expiry date
  • CAUL (Atlantic Canada) - Atlantic Scholarly Information Network Card

*Note: the agreement does not include undergraduate students from the University of Toronto or the Ontario College of Art and Design.
**Note: this agreement only includes graduate students, faculty and staff at Quebec institutions
