Limits on the number of Readings on Paper Reserves
- There is a limit of 15 titles on reserve for anyone class.
- There is a maximum of five copies of each title.
- Photocopies of multiple readings submitted in a binder count as one title.
- A maximum of five new titles will be ordered by the Library for Reserve per class.
Photocopies of Journal Articles and Book Chapters
- Single articles need to be submitted in manila folders or duotangs.
- Multiple articles must be submitted in a binder that is indexed and divided.
1. Fill out the personal copies form for both photocopies of articles and chapters and personal copies of books.
2.1. If your reading is from a publisher on the Access Copyright Exclusions List, you can only put a single copy of the reading on Reserve or
2.1.1. You can place multiple copies (up to five copies) on Reserve if you can provide permission in writing from the copyright holder.
2.2. If your reading is not on the exclusions list, you can place multiple copies of your reading (up to five copies) on Reserve.
2.2.1. Multiple copies require a separate sheet of paper recording the name of the publisher, author and bearing the Access Copyright stamp or the following quote: This material has been copied under licence from Access Copyright. Resale or further copying of the material is prohibited.
3. Submit your Reserve Items in person or via campus mail to the appropriate Library’s Reserve Contact.
