City of Calgary Bylaws
- BylawsBylaws are subject to amendment. Citizens should consult the original documents in the Office of the City Clerk. Alberta Government Services
- Alberta OmbudsmanThe Alberta Ombudsman responds to complaints of unfair treatment by provincial government authorities and designated professional organizations.
- Human ServicesResponsible for programs and services related to: child and family, employment, homeless supports, immigration services, etc.
- Office of the Public GuardianThe Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) provides decision-making mechanisms for individuals who are unable to make personal, non-financial decisions for themselves. The OPG does this through the Personal Directives Act, the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Act and the Mental Health Act. The OPG also administers the Personal Directives Registry and the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Registry.

Each administrative body has separate procedures and rules. Details for applications, filing documents, notices, rules, consultations, approvals, claims, standing, jurisdiction and powers, hearings and appeal/review processes may be found on each body's website. Officials, Agencies, Boards, Commissions and Tribunals often make their decisions available through their own websites.
- Alberta Gaming and Liquor CommissionA Government of Alberta agency responsible for administering the Gaming and Liquor Act, Regulation, and related policy.
- Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of AlbertaThe Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner is the regulatory body for the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (the FOIP Act), the Health Information Act (HIA), and the Personal Information Protection Act (Private Sector Privacy). The Commissioner also conducts inquiries under the Access to Motor Vehicle Information Regulation (AMVIR).
