LAW - Starting Points - Beginning Your Canadian Legal Research
Other Research Guides
Librarians may have created other research guides that could be useful in your research.
Scan the Law research guides from the Guides icon on our webpage to determine if any are relevant to you. For example, look at the Finding Foreign Cases or Legislation guides if you need to look for American or British materials.
To get assistance searching non-legal topics or using other types of resources, look at research guides created by other librarians at the University of Calgary. To find these guides click on the Research tab at the top of the webpage, the Research Guides, and All Research Guides. To find relevant guides, you can either scroll down the subject list or use the search box at the top of the list of guides. For example, a search for newspapers would provide a link to the Newspapers & News Media guide.
