This guide was produced for the Law Faculty Lunch and Learn, May 16, 2018.


Spatial and Numeric Data Services (SANDS) is a special service unit in the Taylor Family Digital Library. 

SANDS name was changed from MADGIC in 2011.  MADGIC started in 1999 as a unit managing maps, geospatial data and academic data. 

We are open to all campus departments and faculties.

what we do: SANDS provides access to cartographic materials, GIS and statistical data and software. 

where are we: TFDL 466

open hours: Monday to Friday 11 to 3, closed weekends

access: drop in, phone, email, or by appointment (recommended)
