Spatial and Numeric Data

At the University of Calgary, faculty and students can access local, Canadian and International public use microdata. These include: Census data, Statistics Canada, Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), and OECD data.

Check out one of the guides (below) on finding different kinds of spatial and numeric data.

Or, connect with our data experts from Spatial and Numeric Data Services

Faculty can also request access to the Prairie Regional Research Data Centre (RDC), located at the University of Calgary. The RDC is a secure Statistics Canada office on campus that facilitates researcher access to microdata from Statistics Canada's surveys, and to Canadian censuses' data, and administrative data sets.
