MADGIC
Maps, Academic Data, Geographic Information Centre
MADGIC is a special service area, located on the 2nd floor of the MacKimmie Library Tower. It houses the map and airphoto collections and provides access to numeric and spatial data to students and faculty. MADGIC supports the teaching and research programs at the University of Calgary. Most data files are restricted to the University community for academic use. The print map and airphoto collection is open to the public. Software
MADGIC workstations have specialized software for the use of GIS and Statistical resources, however these are restricted to academic users at the University of Calgary.
