Calgary Sirsi Consortium Libraries
Calgary Sirsi Consortium Libraries are postsecondary institutions that share the University of Calgary's Sirsi Library System. If you are a student, faculty or staff member at one of these institutions, you can use your institution's ID card to:
- Check out up to 50 books at one time
- Renew books online

The institutions listed below have direct (non-consortial) reciprocal borrowing agreements with the University of Calgary Library. The X's identify which members of the university community have borrowing privileges at the University of Calgary Libraries. Please bring proper identification so that Circulation staff can identify you as a student, faculty or staff member at the appropriate institution.

The Alberta Library (TAL) Card program. If you belong to a library that participates in The Alberta Library (TAL) CARD program, you can borrow materials from the University of Calgary Libraries. Before you come, make sure that you have obtained a
TAL Card from your home library. Books loaned to TAL Card holders are governed by the borrowing rules of the University of Calgary Library.
Your TAL Card allows you to:
- Check out up to 5 books at one time
- No renewals
Graduate Students, Faculty and Staff from Other Canadian Universities
Graduate students, faculty and staff from other Canadian universities can borrow books from the University of Calgary Libraries. Before coming to Calgary, make sure that you have obtained the proper ID from your home university's library. You can find further information on the
