Spatial and Numeric Data Services

MADGIC (Maps, Academic Data, Geographic Information Centre) has moved to the 4th floor of the Taylor Family Digital Library, with a new name: Spatial and Numeric Data Services.   As part of this transition, the map and air photo collection has moved to storage in the Library basement.  We regret that there will no longer be a drop-in service for most materials.  Spatial and Numeric Data Services will provide a retrieval service for maps and air photos.

Most Calgary air photos are now available at our TFDL 4th floor location.

A self service option for air photo research is now available, Monday to Friday 9-11am.  Please contact us to make an appointment.

Spatial and Numeric Data Services is a special service unit which provides access to data to students and faculty.   We support the teaching and research programs at the University of Calgary.  Most data files are restricted to the University community for academic use.  For more information, check the Data and Statistics, GIS, and Maps & Airphotos links on the left.
