The Our Future Our Past and Our Roots collections were created in the late 1990s - early 2000s with funding from:

- Libraries and Cultural Resources
The digitized collections include:
- 1500 medical history journals, books, reports, and photographs
- 6000 local history books
- 800 reels of early Alberta newspapers
- 600 Alberta law bills, statutes, ordinances, journals, and gazettes
- 3300 municipal bylaws
We are not currently adding to the collection, however, we will continue to manage, preserve and distribute these materials through our Digital Services unit.
