What are the definitions of the licensing terms displayed in the "View It" area for Electronic Resources?


       Course Pack Print: Instructor is allowed to use material from the resource in a course pack.

       Course Reserve Electronic Copy: Material from the resource can be put on electronic reserve eg: D2L or Ares. 

       Course Reserve Print: Copies of material from the resource can be put on reserve at a U of C Library.

       Digitally copy: University of Calgary users can download a copy of the material for their own personal use.  There is no distribution right here. 

       Electronic Link: Anyone from the University community can provide a link to material in the journal. 

       Interlibrary loan print or fax: Our interlibrary loan staff can provide a copy to another library via Canada Post or via fax. 

       Interlibrary loan secure electronic transmission: Our interlibrary loan staff can provide a copy to another library digitally.

       Print copy: University of Calgary users can print a copy of the material for their own personal use.  There is no distribution right here. 

       Remote Access: University of Calgary students, faculty and staff including University of Calgary distance students can access this journal from off campus. 

       Scholarly Sharing: Members of the University community can share up to three articles with a colleague from another institution that doesn’t have access to the journal.  Excessive sharing could violate our licence terms.

       Walk in User:  Walk in users to the Library not affiliated with the University can use the resource.
