The vast majority of items in Digital Collections are available for viewing in your browser without the need for registering an account.
If you encounter issues viewing a book or book-like PDF title in Digital Collections the culprit may be:
- internet speeds and/or size of the book (some of our books are quite large!)
- using an old browser version (Safari in particular)
Try viewing the same book in another browser. This works for most users.
If there are still problems accessing a title let us know using the Ask A Question button.
Include information like:
- which browser you are using
- if this happens with all books you are viewing or just large ones (here is an example of a small PDF in Digital Collections to compare)
- the title or link you are trying to access
