This block covers research and technology transfer as it relates to University operations and the promotion of the University’s research expertise. It includes chairs and professorships; sponsored research; research ethics; research partnerships with industry including business, industrial, technological and research organizations, and with community organizations; and liaison with research bodies including institutes, centres and groups.

Activity:
To document the development, establishment, appointment and general administration of chairs and professorships which are funded by endowments and other sources such as granting agencies. Records may include terms of reference, fund-raising proposals, correspondence, and selection committee agenda and minutes.
